App license
Moon Guide is licensed through the App Store under Apple’s standard End User License Agreement. This page explains the app’s features and purchase conditions; it does not replace that agreement.
Observing guidance
Moon Guide provides educational astronomical calculations and observing guidance. Clouds, terrain, buildings, magnetic interference, sensor accuracy, and future time-zone rules can affect what you see. An above-horizon assessment does not guarantee that the Moon is visible. Use your surroundings and judgment when observing; the app is not a navigation or safety instrument.
Free features and advertising
Moon observing tools, Lock Screen widgets, and local reminders are free. Limited banners may appear on Calendar and Learn. Consent, connection, ad availability, and verified purchase status determine whether a banner can appear. See the Privacy page for Google’s data handling.
One-time Remove Ads purchase
Remove Ads is a non-consumable, one-time App Store purchase, not a subscription. The current price is shown by Apple before you buy. Verified ownership removes all Calendar and Learn banners. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that purchased it. Apple manages payment, transaction approval, and any refund request under its applicable policies. Widgets and reminders do not require this purchase.
Widgets and reminders
iOS controls widget refresh and notification delivery. Local reminders cover a bounded rolling schedule; open the app to refresh the horizon displayed in Settings. System settings and Focus can delay or suppress notifications. Moon Guide does not promise continuous background refresh or indefinite scheduling.
