These Terms of Service govern your use of Mova, a service provided by Mova Learning LLC (“Mova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Mova, you agree to these Terms.
1. Current release scope
Mova provides language-learning content that can be used as a guest where available. You may also create or sign into an account to preserve progress, sync supported learning data, and use account rights such as export, deletion, and removing account data from a device.
2. Permitted use
Mova is provided for personal, non-commercial language learning. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
3. Accounts and sign-in providers
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Mova may support email/password sign-in, Google sign-in, and Sign in with Apple. Provider availability can vary by platform, build, configuration, or device capability.
4. Device storage and connectivity
Guest progress may be stored on your device. Signed-in progress may be stored with Firebase services so it can be restored or synced. Some experiences depend on network access for account authentication, content delivery, support, updates, or optional notifications.
5. Account rights
If you create an account, you may request export or deletion through the app where account rights are enabled. Deletion may require recent re-authentication and explicit confirmation to protect against accidental or unauthorized deletion.
6. Content and intellectual property
Mova Content. “Mova Content” means the original lessons, exercises, explanations, translations, text, audio, artwork, graphics, course organization, designs, and other material made available by Mova or its licensors through the service. Mova Content does not include third-party podcast content or material identified as subject to separate license terms.
Limited license. Subject to these Terms, Mova grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use Mova Content solely for your personal, non-commercial language study.
Prohibited uses. Except with Mova's prior written permission or as expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not: (a) copy, reproduce, extract, scrape, or download Mova Content in bulk; (b) publish, transmit, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or otherwise make Mova Content available to others; (c) repackage or commercially exploit Mova Content; (d) use Mova Content or protected Mova branding, artwork, or interface assets to create, populate, market, or operate an unauthorized derivative or competing app, website, dataset, course, or service; (e) remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, provenance, or rights-management information; or (f) use Mova's name, marks, icons, or trade dress in a manner likely to cause confusion about source, sponsorship, or affiliation.
Third-party podcasts. Mova Listen may index public podcast RSS metadata and stream podcast episodes from publisher-provided source URLs. Mova does not host, transcode, save, convert, or redistribute third-party podcast audio for offline playback. Podcast titles, creators, artwork, and source links are shown for attribution. Podcast content concerns can be sent to support@learnmova.com. Mova may disable a source or episode while a credible concern is reviewed.
Reservation. Mova and its licensors reserve all rights not expressly granted. Unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination of access and may be addressed through platform, contractual, or legal remedies.
7. Changes to the service
We may update, suspend, or change parts of the service over time, including provider availability, account features, or paid features in later releases. If the shipped scope changes materially, we will update these Terms.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Mova is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
