Effective date: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Take Your Medicine handles information when you use the iOS application. Take Your Medicine is published by Mova Learning LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. What The App Does
Take Your Medicine helps you create medication schedules, receive reminders, record dose outcomes, review medication history, and optionally schedule refill-date reminders.
The app is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription services, pharmacy services, or emergency assistance.
2. Information Stored By The App
Information you enter into Take Your Medicine is stored locally on your device. This may include:
- Medication names or labels.
- Dose schedules and reminder times.
- Taken, skipped, missed, and pending dose history.
- Refill dates, reminder lead times, repeat intervals, and “Mark refilled” dates.
- Notification preferences.
- Appearance preferences.
- Compatibility information retained when upgrading from an earlier app version.
This information is used on your device to provide the app’s medication, history, and reminder features.
Take Your Medicine does not transmit medication, schedule, refill, reminder, or history information to us during normal app operation.
Your device’s operating system may include app data in a device backup according to your Apple and iCloud settings. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings; they are not an app-managed cloud-sync feature.
3. No Account Or Cloud Synchronization
Take Your Medicine does not require an account. The app does not include app-managed cloud synchronization, a developer-operated medication database, or a user-facing backup or restore service.
Because we do not receive your locally stored medication data, we cannot view, retrieve, correct, export, or remotely delete it.
You can edit or delete information within the app. Removing the app deletes its locally stored data from the device, subject to any device backups managed by Apple.
4. Analytics, Advertising, And Tracking
Take Your Medicine does not collect product analytics.
The app does not include:
- Advertising.
- Advertising identifiers.
- Cross-app tracking.
- Third-party analytics SDKs.
- Behavioral profiling.
- Medication-data telemetry.
- Developer-operated crash-reporting collection.
Development and testing logs used while building the app are not transmitted as a product analytics stream in the production app.
5. Notifications
Take Your Medicine can request permission to schedule medication and refill reminders.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. The app does not use push notification tokens and does not rely on a remote push-notification service to deliver medication or refill reminders.
Lock-screen notification text is intentionally generic and does not include medication names, dose labels, refill dates, or pharmacy information.
You can enable or disable notifications through the app and through iOS Settings. The app’s medication and history features continue to work if notification permission is declined.
6. Refill Reminders
Refill reminders are based only on dates and settings that you enter. Refill information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us.
Take Your Medicine does not:
- Connect to pharmacies.
- Order or request refills.
- Transfer prescriptions.
- Confirm that a prescription is ready.
- Track pill quantities or remaining supply.
- Predict when medication will run out.
- Recommend whether or when you should refill medication.
7. Face ID Compatibility
Users who enabled app lock in an earlier version may temporarily continue to use Face ID as an existing-user compatibility feature. Fresh installations cannot enable app lock.
Face ID authentication is performed by iOS. Take Your Medicine does not receive, store, or transmit facial images, biometric templates, or other biometric data. The app receives only the authentication result provided by the operating system.
8. Information Provided To Support
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message, and other information you voluntarily include. Support information is used only to respond to your request, troubleshoot the reported issue, maintain necessary correspondence, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Do not include medication details or other sensitive health information in a support message unless it is necessary for your request.
Support correspondence is separate from the locally stored information inside the app. Contacting support does not give us access to your medication records.
9. Third-Party Platform Services
The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store and uses operating-system services for local storage, notifications, and optional Face ID authentication. Apple may process information under its own privacy policy when you use Apple services, the App Store, iCloud Backup, or device diagnostics.
Take Your Medicine does not provide medication or refill information to advertising, analytics, pharmacy, or data-broker services.
10. Children's Privacy
Take Your Medicine is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum applicable age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
If a child sends personal information to our support address, a parent or guardian may contact us to request its deletion.
11. Data Security
Medication and reminder information remains under the protections provided by your device and operating system. We recommend using an iPhone passcode, keeping iOS updated, and controlling who can access your device.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Because the app stores its records locally, the security of those records also depends on the security of your device and any device backups you enable.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s features or data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
If a future version introduces accounts, cloud synchronization, analytics, remote notifications, or another form of developer data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before that version is released.
